This knowledge is very valuable. Thank you for sharing! There are so many beautiful farms around the state of Michigan that we have been able to take advantage of and support.

Thanks for this post <3 was feeling super down and overwhelmed the more research I'm doing with round up being in our "organic" foods as well. Your video cheered me up and helped me see how blessed our family is. We grow our own beef and meat chickens, have layer hens and I have my jersey cow that I milk for our family, we live in Canada and raw milk isn't available here in stores. Thanks for all your research and knowledge, it makes my journey a little easier having someone like you sharing your videos. I appreciate it!!
P.S you've inspired me to make my own soaps with the tallow from our cows.

You can actually grow a LOT in a small amount of space. With only a few feet of land between my house and the neighbor I have several plants, vines, and trees. I have 2 peach trees, 2 banana, 1 apricot, 1 pomegranate, 1 orange, 1 lime, 2 lemon, 2 almond, 6 apple, 1 mango, 2 avocado, and 1 cherry. And that's just the trees. About half are in containers and half in the ground. My food forest provides food and spices for me on a daily basis and it keeps getting better. I haven't used any fertilizer. I use compost and sometimes compost tea. Now that my soil is better, I mainly just use compost when planting something new. Permaculture is the way to go!

Great video with great information. Thanks! I love Azure Standard. I’ve been shopping them for close to a decade. Farmers markets and CSA memberships are also a great way to get locally sourced food without having to trek out to the farm if you’re unable.

Wow, I just looked at the website for my local weston price chapter and their resource list is a mile long. There are so many local grass-fed ranches and farms I've never heard of, and I've lived in this city most of my life. That was a really helpful tip!

Hi, have you got any tips for beginner growers/gardeners? Any good resources for how to start growing food in a small house. Can you perhaps do a video of what you grow and how you started out?

Hallo Marisa, I found out recently, that nutritional yeast is a very good natural source for B vitamins (not B12, but very much B1 and others).
Can I introduce nutritional yeast at stage 1 or 2?
Thank you very much in advance for your reply.
All the best from Germany,
Claudia

I think my son has bad mouth floura so going to try introduce some Gaps food. I already eat organic meat as much as possible and buy this from a local farm.
Its fitting it all in that seems like a tremendous task. I make sauerkraut and that seems to take ages to make but I especially need to do this for him and the family.
Would you know if I could start weaning my nearly 4 month old onto meat stocks. She takes goat formula which they say is easier to digest than cows milk but she still struggles, is very windy all the time and generally upset a lot?

Why is it that all grocery store items even the stuff labeled organic, had round up vs local items?

Too late I’ve already gone to that overwhelmed place.
