Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was granted bail by the Supreme Court Friday morning - 18 months after he was first arrested by the CBI in the alleged liquor policy case. In a striking verdict Justices BR Gavai and KV Viswanathan said the Aam Aadmi Party leader was entitled to a "speedy trial" and that it would it be a "travesty of justice to send him back to a trial court.

Very good rulling from the Supreme Court. No where in the history of India ' Democracy has put A sitting CM & Dy CM behind bars for whatever reason or charges. If such be the allegations such as liquor scam. Who is the authority to issue licence to dealers in the capital? No other states have such issues.
