one thing I noticed was a great detail. when Wonka sees the sign that says "No Daydreaming", it says that you have to pay 3 sovereigns, but Willy gives him 4 sovereigns because he didn't know how to read. amazing detail

That was a really good way of showing how a musical number exists in-universe. All embellishment and daydreaming.
I don't think I've ever seen that done before, but hats off to the film; that made me chuckle.
