The Stormlight Archive

The Stormlight Archive is a high fantasy novel series written by American author Brandon Sanderson, planned to consist of ten novels. As of 2023, the series comprises four published novels and two novellas, set within his broader Cosmere universe. The first novel, The Way of Kings, was published on August 31, 2010. The second novel, Words of Radiance, was published in 2014 and debuted at number one on The New York Times Best Seller List, followed by Oathbringer in 2017 and Rhythm of War in 2020. A fifth novel, named Wind and Truth, is expected to be released December 6th 2024, while writing for the latter half of the series will begin after Sanderson finishes writing the upcoming Era Three Mistborn trilogy and the two Elantris sequels

Throne of Glass

Throne of Glass follows Celaena Sardothien, an 18-year-old assassin in the Kingdom of Adarlan. After a year of suffering for her crimes in a slave camp called Endovier, she accepts the offer of Crown Prince Dorian Haviliard, the King of Adarlan's son, to compete with other assassins and thieves for a chance to serve as the King's Champion, and eventually gain her freedom after four years in the King's service. This leads her to form unexpected bonds with Chaol, the Captain of the Guard, and Dorian, the Crown Prince of Adarlan. Over time, Celaena is drawn into a conspiracy and a series of battles, leading to discoveries surrounding both the Kingdom and herself.

Red Rising Trilogy

Each book has a timeskip in between. The titles of each book pertain to the development of the main character, Darrow. Darrow was the Red Rising, a part of the Rebellion. As he became more involved with Golds, and was part of House Augustus, he was a Gold. In the final book, he becomes a leader, just like the star sailors look at to point their way. The theme of the first book was revenge and justice. The second book was about trust. The last book was about hope and faith, and reveals two interpretations of Darrow: as a hero or a villain.
