That’s the phrase keep your perspective as I said through out and these are extremely believable and not like a play. It’s a recounting of your version of events but when you talk about what you are doing sometimes you change from I said to something else and that’s where the break happens. I love all of your stories and I hope reading this you take it as constructive criticism that can make all of your stories so much better. 😎

I think one thing that I keep the immersion in the stories from your side of things wifey is to concentrate more on 1st person point of view. When hubby tells his story he is telling it as a 3rd person because he’s telling what happened and what was done and when you tell the story you are telling it from 3rd person perspective when you read it it goes back and forth breaking the immersion. It’s like you’re reading a play where you say I was spanking hubby for his inconsiderate behavior and you are describing what you’re doing then you break the immersion by saying you will never do that again I said as I didn’t let him look away. When you say I said you went from you doing this to it sounds like your reading a play that you didn’t take part in. It then sounds like a story which takes away from you actually did this to him if that makes sense.

Well the rest of that was exciting if a bit over the top. In reality I'd think he'd be bleeding by the time you were done as you made his skin tender, already spanked it severely and switches in water or brine usually leave small welts.

I see this in lots of peoples work where they don’t realize they are breaking the immersion by using little phrases like that. Many writers don’t realize they do this and it makes the difference of visually imagining what’s happening as your reading it to Did you do this or did you read some did this? It makes it not as believable if you know what I mean. It would help your stories that feature you and hubby so much better to keep it in 1st person perspective 😎

Ok, when someone starts talking about the bathroom being a privilege (and one isn't wearing useable diapers or have some alternative system) that's when I'm out of there. Human beings have biological needs one of which is elimination of waste. Only adult babies and really abused real slaves have their waste functions totally controlled by another. Well, real babies and some medical patients also but they don't count. And man, can we say "PMS" because this punishment seems way out of proportion not just to the 'sin' (In reality an understandable human accident because humans are rarely perfect and no one is perfect all the time) but in comparison to other punishments for arguably more important things.
