Donald Trump walks out at the RNC

Former Pres. Trump has arrived at the convention with a bandage on his ear. The crowd cheered when he was shown on the jumbotron during a musical interlude. This is his first public appearance since the attempted assassination on Saturday at his rally.

I watched him closely that first night he walked in at the RNC. He’s a changed man. His face and the way he walked showed it. It must have been very difficult to face a crowd again after what he’d just been through and the gravity of his last experience of almost being killed. I’m sure he was somewhat overwhelmed with emotion. He knows that God’s protection saved his life. But, throughout the evening, I was picking up on something else. His movements were showing physical pain. Every time he walked or sat down and stood up, he looked like he felt pain. I think he has other aches and pains from being dogpiled by the Secret Service agents. I don’t think it was just his ear that hurts. He could have bruises or broken ribs as well. And yet, after all he’s been through, HE SHOWED UP!

I am the mental health veterans therapist, Vietnam veteran and have many years experience working with combat veterans. I recognized Donald Trump’s face immediately. When a bullet whizzes by your head it is a life altering event. The bullet hit him in his ear. This is the face of a warrior who has been tested, with a new realization of life’s priorities. He has been humbled, and recognizes that he is on “overtime“. That is every breath is given to him by God Almighty. He came in one man, and left another. we have witnessed a miracle! Thank you, Jesus!
