Dark sense of humor but it's kind of ironic that the paralyzed guys last name is walker, genuinely hope everything goes well for him.

Can we all just agree that 'investors' and 'traders' are not very good at remaining calm and being wise with money? panic yesterday followed by resurgence today. It's all nonsense and only serves to ruin normal peoples' lives when these panic-prone 'traders' get scared by, I dunno, thunderstorms or the change in M&M color..

Google's monopoly is also hard to tackle since all the other search engine options are absolute garbage. But then again, that's probably due to their meddling too.

I really don't understand what is going on in Bangladesh. Why have a law that requires a quota of 60 year olds in government jobs and why wouldn't you just change it in light of its unpopularity? It's so bizarre that the government is so inflexible.

The carry traders (borrowing money from Japan at 1% to invest in the US at 7%) basically got scurred. Their problem. Nothing to see here.

Wait, how did the DoJ bring an Anti-Trust case against Google without any remedies to request from the judge? How could it be "unknown what penalty Alphabet will be given" or "how they'll have to change their business practices" to comply with Anti-Trust law?

I knew I had to click immediately when I saw mild profanity in a TLDR News title.

a pedantic correction as someone learning japanese: "nikkei" sounds more like "knee-KAY" instead of the "KNEE kai" that you've been pronouncing

Just nitpicking but...That's a quadracycle, a bi-cycle has 2 wheels.

I'm sorry, but your using the wrong vowel sound for the second half of the word Nikkei is like nails on chalkboard. It uses a sound much closer to date, paste, and slate than the vowel used for eye, die or lie.
