Folks purchase powdered milk for the shelf life .if you mix it strong and add a little sugar it will be comparable with fresh milk. Same with just add water pancake mix and mashed potatoes .it guarantees something to eat even if you don't have utilities.

Towns near state lines has out of state consumers shopping in their towns and vice-versa. People do what they have do, these areas have state lines blurred. The hoarding and panic buying just gets more people infected, which is why I tell family to store extra food and supplies throughout the year.
