Ive seen a couple of people overclock 780m’s to 3000mhz even on the 7000 series for laptops and such. I think people under estimate the value of the cpu id take it over a i5 anyday because you. Can upgrade and make a cheap build and throw this cpu in and just sell it and make a lil profit seling it as a entry gaming pc for some kid. Who plays fortnite and roblox

8700G is 7840HS in a desktop socket with overclocking, like it’s basically the same chip, problem is you would get significantly better CPU performance from a 7600

Lol, you can buy a R5 7600 and a cheap discrete gpu and destroy the 8700G in both gaming and computational tasks with its halved L3 cache.
