Conflicted feelings on this one as a Rangers die-hard. I'm very glad for the win (and an away one at that), but barely winning against a struggling team which we allowed to outshoot us and get late goals against us...well, it feels a bit like getting a new bike for Christmas but having your parents remind you that you still need the training wheels.

Power had a terrible game. Sabres and Red Wings are examples of why most teams are afraid of the rebuild. You can’t just spend 5 years being bad and drafting high. It’s more complex than that. What the Maple Leafs did was smart, high picks while simultaneously making smart signings. No playoff success but they have had great regular seasons.

I unfortunately didn't get to watch this because I don't have cable and I wanted to know what went down with that fight, (quick context I'm not a Sabres fan, I'm just your "average" and "normal" Nicolas Aubé-Kubel fan and I'm always rooting for him) I was not gonna rest until I found out what sparked this fight. Until I find out exactly what happened, I will rest. HOWEVER, who is that TNT commentator and he actually said Aubé-Kubel's name correctly?! And the Sabres commentator can't get it right?! What world are we living in?
