Lemur baby

This is a clip of Eulemur rubriventer (the red-bellied lemur), filmed in Ranomafana National Park in 2009. Red-bellied lemurs live in small monogamous groups, and like many lemur species are generally female dominant, a rare trait among primates. In these clips both parents care for the infant.
