Sisters Karmaleta Hempel and Twila Williams, fourth-generation owners of the A. Thomas Hill Farm, discussed the history of the land and the family that acquired it in 1889. The original farm produced native grass, wheat, oats, corn, cattle, and sheep, in addition to a vegetable garden grown for sustainability. At the time of the interview wheat and cattle were the main products. Karmaleta and Twila shared childhood memories of the farm, the original buildings, and the plans in place for the land's future.
