Hank Williams Jr. & The Mike Curb Congregation- Jesus Loved The Devil Out Of Me (Original Mono 45)

This is one of my all-time-favourite songs.
I believe it's one of the coolest, most uplfting good-time country Gospel songs ever recorded!

It came out in Australia in August 1971 as the flipside of an MGM 45, 2006 054..
The A. side was "I've Got A Right To Cry".

The song came from a movie called "Lookin' Good", which, I must admit I've never heard of!
(Although I do believe that Steve Lawrence sang the title tune).
What a combination...Hank Jr. & Steve Lawrence!!!

This upload is from the original 45.

It's weird to hear Hank Williams Jr.'s early recordings. His voice sounds so youthful. I'm accustomed to hearing songs from his outlaw period.

BEST PART FOR ME WAS THE PARTICIPATION OF THE MIKE CURB CONGREGATION CHOIR. THEY ALSO BACKED UP HANK, JR. ON "ALL FOR THE LOVE OF SUNSHINE" AND BILLY WALKER ON "GONE, OUR ENDLESS LOVE."

When did this come out? It's pretty early in Hank Jr.s career that much is certain.
