Another brand new lens from Sigma, and one of my favourite things this time: a fast standard zoom lens, for APS-C mirrorless cameras. And the smallest and lightest one ever made! Let's see if the quality is there.

i do like you doing the full frame part of your videos, but i do wish you slide the lenses up and down the range to see if there is better coverage at some point... but almost no other reviewer consistently checks this so thank you for adding it. Small hack sigma 10-18 f2.8 works full frame from 12-18mm, if you remove the rear baffle which is simple to do and is pretty sharp in the corners and amazingly light.

I just ordered a used one, I'm hoping it works better in indoor lowlight situations, better than my Sony/Zeiss f4 16-70 which I like already.

I had already purchased the Sigma 56mm f1.4 lens, but then I just saw that they came out with this and since this is more versatile, I decided to cancel the 56mm and buy this instead. So excited and can't wait for it to come in!

Finally the mirrorless version of the old 17-50 f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM! Hope Sigma update the 8-16 and 50-150 also, and make lenses to Canon, Nikon and other mounts.

Just picked up one with a lens protector thrown in. Compared to the Sony kit lens (16-50) there is no comparison. Unless the kit lens I have is defective, the Sigma blows it away. It’s not quite as sharp as my old Nikon nifty fifty on the D750 but it’s close. The Sony kit lens is mush, cannot understand how some seem to praise it.

Well, since the only APS-C L-Mount cameras are Leica TL and CL

6:30 Tragedy it's only sharp at f8 in close focus.

So sad that it has no IBIS (I own a Sony A6300). Therefore I can´t use it.
