Physics wise this makes sense blasters fire bolts of plasma the hotter a plasma gets the more thermal energy radiates out as electromagnetic radiation with the emission of an ideal plasma being L= σt^4 with t being temperature and sigma being a universal constant so a hotter bolt will emit more energy as light and thus the mode frequency of the light would increase however green bolts would not be possible since green is near the center of the visible light spectrum it and thus a bolt of plasma that emitted primarily green light would also produce high amounts of red light and thus appear white, as for any laser based weapon (by which I mean actual lasers not the stuff falsely labeled as lasers) the color could be the result of the filters and reflectors used in the weapon and wouldn’t necessarily correlate to the level of since most of the light from the laser would probably outside the visible spectrum and the color is only determined by the small sliver in the visible spectrum
