Shows on tour right now, I had privilege of seeing it 3 times, 4 by Friday. I think it’s a good movie musical adaptation. Was it needed? Absolutely not. Is it still a very fun watch? Absolutely. This is on the list of my guilty pleasure musicals despite being flawed. I’m currently working on a video of it right now

i thought it was great! and the special effects were campy, but they added to the charm of the show. Also, the car coming out over the audience and flipping upside down with the actors inside? absolutely amazing

i love this show!! i’ve seen it in london and nyc now. when my mom suggested it i was skeptical, but it’s goofy and doesn’t try to be a 1:1 imitation either. doc brown especially so— he makes the character his own and it’s hilarious imo. the car makes me wanna go into set automation sheerly cause of how cool it is, and i love how they mixed the scrim projections with on-stage action. my only gripe was the sound. i don’t remember any issues at the adelphi, but winter garden was Very Loud and a bit hard to understand at times.
