Okay. For clarification:
By "it looks like skin", they mean that it looks like skin ON CAMERA. Depending on what lighting, film, and camera you use, different foundations can cause make actors look oily, or really dry, look really cakey, or flash odd colors. It's the same reason why there was a swath of actresses who looked like they'd dunked their face in flour while on the red carpet a few years back. The flash and camera tech had changed, but the stylists hadn't adapted - they didn't look like that in-person, but the flash and HD cameras picked up EVERYTHING

I use this foundation and it is *amazing*. I'm a grandma with adult acne scarring and when I use this foundation it really disguises the acne scarring and signs of aging. It looks *beautiful* yet still looks like it's just my skin. I don't get compliments on my "makeup" when wearing it, I get compliments on how great my skin looks!
