About 10 years ago, I got a phone call from my friend Kirk, and was asked to be a part of a Journey tribute that he was putting together. It was never meant to be a full time thing - just a few gigs for fun.

This was no ordinary tribute band and was a great experience. At that time, Kirk McKim and Rodney O'Quinn were members of the Pat Travers Band. Eli Jacobson was (and still is) a member of the internationally famous Voice Play group. Drummer Mike Schuster and I became friends immediately.

With only a couple of rehearsals, we went out and did two shows. This is from a board mix of one of the shows we played at Concert Pub North in Houston.
