Ryan Grubb is a massive improvement from Waldron and it showed on the field. Geno was calling audibles, making adjustments and overall was executing at a high level. Once our D gets healthy we will be a terror in the NFC.

Hey Will. You saw the game like I did. Although the Seahawks lost the game, they also played a good game. The defense gave up chunk plays, but not that many, but it was their undoing. The DK Metcalf fumble was returned to around the 10. That resulted in a TD. The 70 yard TD was the other one that ultimately defined the scoreboard. That's it, they fix those mistakes and take 14 off the Detroit board and the game is even. The OPI on Locket was crap and probably took points off the board. The 2 point play was good, DK got the knee down with complete control of the ball. That's how close to a win they were. Detroit run game produced less than Seattle who racked up 120 rushing in the second half. 516 total yards to Detroits 389. Yes Goff did his thing, and he was sharp, but they rarely got any pressure on him whereas Geno was under duress on every drop back yet still threw for 395! This loss should help them get better. If they had gone into Detroit and been blown out without keeping it close it would be a different story. But it was a one score game until there was 5 minutes to go in the 4th. A lot of good things to build on here. Dan Campbell in his fourth year and Mike MacDonald in his 4th game. Could have easily been a lot worse, K9 and Geno carried the team and despite the fumble DK was a big factor too. Three consecutive 2nd half possessions and 3 consecutive TD's that doesn't happen often, certainly not under Waldron the last couple of years. This team os going to make a lot more noise and push SF for the division.

Great game by the Lions. They won as they should have with the starters out for the Hawks and home field advantage. See yall in the playoffs and hopefully everyone is healthy on both teams. We will get a real conclusion that way.

Metcalf's fumble wasn't his fault, the velocity he was hit with, was the hardest we have ever seen.

The fumble was the result of adrenaline-fueled competitive determination, but it might have been a 10 or 14 point swing play. I guess that's the sort of thing that comes with a player of DK's intensity.

Nice video, I'm noticing a disturbing treand between the Huskies and SeaHawks that both teams shouldn't have to worry about and that is { beating yourself }. Getting penalties - turnovers - mistakes. Both teams need to eliminate all of the above and watch what happens.

The defense certainly was suffering and could hardly stop the Lions offense but what was different, and what surprised me, was that the "old" Seahawks would have got the ball back and went 3 and out or had an unproductive drive and punted, but we were able to move the ball just about every possession. It was a nice change.

Seahawks fan here. What pissed me off was how the Lions were holding us all game long that nobody is talking out!!!! Lions D is not that good but alot of people are saying the Lions are the best team in Football. Just funny to me. 4 weeks into the season and still alot of Football to be played
