I'd give the family grace. If you're re on lock down it can't be easy for their mom having them inside most of the time, especially young children. Annoying for everyone but if they were never like that before I'd say it's just part of lock down. My sister in law who is a foster mom has 6 kids right now and they've been locked down for a while, it's very hard on their family since the kids just need to be kids regardless of the circumstances surrounding them. Hopefully it will be a passing nuisance.

I'm so jazzed your doing Margerite Miller collage planner prompts!!
She used birds for something fast and so did I. Plus I had a Santa Claus postage stamp and figured he has to be fast too in order to deliver all thr toys all over thr world in one night.
I tried my hand at doing it and ended up making a large journaling card using a lovely Yankee Candle brochure for base and mounted it on a map page in my junk journal. The bird wass a die cut from a christmas card on a pop up glue dot. I also used the tiny red bow.
It is always fun watching you collage!!

I can’t even imagine how you put up with that noise. I would get my broom handle and bang on the ceiling every time they started. I never allowed my girls to make noise like that in the house. The parents must have hearing problems. Thanks Rachel for another great video.

This collage turned out GREAT!!! I'm glad you used two pages! Sometimes one page is sufficient, but two seems to make a full I enjoy watching you work and listening to your stories. I don't think I could live in an apartment building! We are on 5 acres and sometimes our neighbors are too lol Have a GREAT

I prefer the two page spread too Rache. My dear old Mum used to always say “children should be seen and not heard!” which is probably a little harsh nowadays BUT we were always well behaved and my kids were too. Today’s children seem to “rule the roost” somehow but maybe I’m a cranky old “you know what” 😉 lol Love your spreads!!! 😊❤️🇦🇺xxx

I like the 2 page spreads because of scale. Often single page spreads seem choppy. I agree about the noise, if we were too noisy, mom always found a chore for us to do. Thank you for sharing your day with us. 🤗

Glad to see you also try various ways to construct or deconstruct old books...it is the best way to learn what works best for you.
Our big family (9 kids) in a three bedroom ranch home with a small yard gave us little room to run. However, the full basement was the main place we could even roller skate, put on "shows", play "house"..construct anything with cardboard boxes..etc. We had a lot of empty lots in our area..until more new homes became built....so running around outside was the most fun..playing "Lemonade", "Crack the Whip", Statue Maker" etc. Our family yard became the favorite place for other kids to meet and plan our day together...on hot summer days..we girls made doll clothes and played jacks.

Oh lawd... those kids would drive me up the wall, i dont know how you do it lovey....lol Yes i think the 2 page spread has a better flow to it Rach 🥰 looks great, love the bits of washi for the pops of colour xox (love to try this, just got to get my bum into 😄)

Love this spread. Tfs Rachel. I think two page spreads are more pleasing to the eye. With a one page spread the pages face each other and with different prompts may look awful size by side. 🤗

Love your pages and your stories as we’re in lockdown like you so it’s nice to see your books and those kids upstairs must be a nightmare I lived in a flat as a child and we where not aloud to make a noise to annoy neighbours we had to go out to play.
