The fact that The Collector has never experience crying is just heart breaking 😭

The Collector apologising just really showed how he know understands how messed up the real world is and that trusting Belos was a big mistake😢

I like that the Collector wasn't treated like a villain. I mean, yeah he was an antagonist and helped Belos, but that didn't make him the villain of this story. And I'm glad that Luz managed to get through to the Collector without unecessary violence. She wasn't even mad when the Collector tried to save Belos, because she herself did the same thing at some point.

Luz: do you not know what death means to mortals?

The moment they finally realized

The collector: I don’t want anyone else to go missing, I’m sorry for everything

I just.. can we appreciate the fact that they showed not everyone deserves kindness and forgiveness? (Another blow to the cliches by Dana lol). Belos was unredeemable, and Collector is still a child learning the way of the world. I just loooove that they showed how not everyone deserves a second chance. Collector feeling guilt and sadness over the consequences of his mistake was heart wrenching to watch, but I feel like a lot of us have gone through that with someone before.
This show was so amazing, for all the underlying topics it covered (despite its shortened lifespan).

I absolutely love how in the end, the Collector was treated as the child he is. He was unfortunately used and abused by many, like Belos and his siblings, but thanks to meeting King, Luz and Eda he is starting to heal, learn and grow after so long. ❤ He is a child that was good but behaved badly due to his traumas.

The Collector definitely was seen as a "bigger fish" type villain when he slammed Belos into the wall with total ease in King's Tide. To everyone else, that was seen as him attempting to end his life, but you can see in this scene that the Collector couldn't tell the difference between breaking a toy and killing someone. With Belos, he wouldn't have tried to 'fix' him because Belos didn't keep his end of the deal (although admittedly even if he did have enough Titan's Blood to repair the portal and free him, he probably wouldn't have, out of fear), but Luz was one of the first people he had met in eons who never did anything indirectly wrong by him. That's why you see him desperately try to bring her back before emotionally breaking down here because he doesn't want that to happen to two people who Luz genuinely cared about

I liked of how the Collector has taken Luz's lesson to heart when he tried to do the kindness and forgiveness act on Belos. Unfortunately, it didn't work which resulted on Luz sacrificing herself for the Collector. At least, The Collector has learned of how the world really is and to know what death actually means towards the witches of the Demon Realm. They didn't mean to cause the chaos and destruction as they did they just wanted to have a friend to play with them and after being trapped for too long they didn't realise the consequences of those actions for when they were helping Belos or turning people into puppets. I'm glad to see the Collector change and hopefully they can reunite with them again someday.

I love how they handled the collector, I was really worried it'd be babied down like he "just wanted to play" and that he'd just do what they say or a miscommunication thing but him not actually understanding a mortals perspective was really solid and his reaction being lashing out from being betrayed and trying to be nice to belos even when that wasn't the way to handle it, it was all very genuine, it was like a child but not childish if that makes sense?

"I'm sorry for everything...huh..what is this stuff....why won't it stop"

That quote kills me a lot cause he never felt this kind of feelings before
And I'm really happy he wasn't a villian, sure an antagonist but he was a child with huge power that did not know what can that led to
I feel bad for him, deserve lots of hugs ;~;

That moment where he brushes the mass of Eda's feet knowing that this is dangerous now made me stop holding back my tears. They were flowing like a waterfall. He really is just a kid, and the way he panicked after realizing that there are extreme consequences; like death; it felt so real.

It’s so sad. Everyone thought the Collector was an evil person, but he’s really just a little kid that didn’t understand the consequences of his actions. You can tell he’s trying to change, and he feels very guilty for putting people in danger without actually knowing.

Aww pobrecito, he’s just a lonely kid who needs some sort of parental figure. This episode made me feel so bad for the collector and for a Minuit I thought he was actually going to die 😭

The Collector is a child who had the power to ensure he never had to deal with consequences or responsibilities, on top not having any responsible adult figures in his life.

So he wasn’t prepared to deal with this.

Poor Collector I feel like he shouldn't even apologize after all he's been through. He just made his first ever true friends and now he doesn't want them to their horrible demise, poor kid...

I think my favourite part is them desperately trying to get the weird fleshy stuff off of Eda, with him shouting out "get off of her!"
It's so precious in a really sad way
