Recently got a white Nexus 5.. I feel the white color is the best as it looks extremely elegant and the contrast with the black front gives it a very classy look..

Great review which seems to address the shortcomings of the Nexus 5 in a positive way. I have the Nexus 5(White/Stormtrooper Edition) and I have been very impressed with it. My biggest worry was the battery life before getting it because of the reviews I had seen however the update to 4.4.2 seems to have done the trick on the camera and battery performance IMO. For how much the phone costs and what it offers...it has to be a bargain steal for anyone because it really offers the best of pure Android with promise of future upgrades and great specs that give the high end phones by HTC, Sony and Samsung a tough competition to beat in both price and performance.

Another thing I noticed that people don't talk about the importance of Optical Image Stabilization in smartphones because no matter how good a camera is, OIS is very crucial to more better pictures in both day and night times shots.

That's a sweet wallpaper on your phone. I like those kind of wallpapers where it focuses on something close and slightly blurs out the background.

This bright red Nexus 5 looks 10 times brighter when viewed with my Note 3's amoled screen. My eyes were almost blinded on the latter part of the video when the whole body of Nexus 5 is slowly being panned around.

I been on the Samsung's Touch Wiz for a few years like the Galaxy 2 and 3. I had the Nexus 5 for a week and it is the best experience I ever had. I understand some of tech guys have subbed that you want a straight Android experience. Samsung, HTC, LG, Sony have their bloatware. I am sticking with pure Android from now on. I got black now I want the red lol. Excellent review.

Yes. I am planning on buying it. Saved almost $300
And I am planning on getting this "Bright Red" one. I don't mind other colors but I think this color stands out more. ;)

I was waiting for the nexus six.. Right at over 600 no way so I will be picking up a red nexus 5 this weekend. Thanks for helping me decide between it and the moto x 2nd Gen.
