Is NOW the time to buy an iPhone 15 Pro Max?

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is a phone that many will have bought without giving the Pro name a second thought. However, I actually used this very phone to aid making my living in the last half-year and these are my thoughts and iPhone 15 Pro Max 6 month later long-term review.

If it doesn't let me control everything about it I can't think of it as pro. I want manual camera modes, the ability to shoot raw, opening multiple apps at once, a decent file Manager, SD card slot

I work for a major ad agency here in the UK primarily as a dev but I have found myself on a large number of sets on the video editing side of things over the years. Since the Experia Pro I released it has been a center piece for many of our cameramen due to its ability to work with Sony Alpha cameras with the team moving onto the mark V I would say it is distinctly a pro device.

i see this video was released on YouTube one day after the new iPhone 16 sieries was announced. This means Apple has stopped selling the iPhone 15. Some phone carrier companies will still the iPhone 15 phones in stock until they don't, and Apple will continue to sell them at their refurbished store, until they don't.

I have an iPhone 11 and a Motorola G54. I know this doesn't come to The content of the video, but I just wanted to say that I feel that iPhone hasn't really innovated for years, that's why I prefer the motorola. 120 hz screen, memory card and 3.5 Jack. Not mentioning the Final Cut Camera app for iOS is a huge loss. It's every control a camera has, way more than the iPhone's Android competitors.

The Xiaomi 13 series had 10-bit LOG video recording months before the 15 pro. Hope this helps

I currently use a OnePlus 8T. I'm looking to upgrade soon. I'm thinking of the OnePlus 13, Pixel 9 Pro XL, iPhone 16 Pro Max or the Galaxy s25 ultra.

Personally I'm leaning towards the Pixel because most of my apps I use are Google one's

Can you just use some apps to shoot these flag footage but with lut applied, they call it real time lut right, so you get the final natural looking footage directly while still keeping at a near default file size with let say Rec 709 lut?

4:09 wrong. My Vivo x80 Pro can shoot log in 4k/30. I bet x100 Ultra also can.
ALSO Xiaomi 14 Ultra can shoot videos in log.
BUT... I think they won't allow you to switch lenses, at least my x80 won't.

You people might know so I've bought a watch off of AliExpress which just runs android how would I get some of the wear os features for example controlling media from my phone and getting data shared automatically that sort of stuff any suggestions will be really appreciated
