Ingredients

Boneless chicken -500gms
Onions-2 medium
Green chillies-2
Turmeric -1/2 tsp
Salt to tatse
Oil

For the tempering

Cinnamon-2
Cloves-4
Cumin-1/4 tsp
Fennel seeds-1/4 tsp
Curry leaves-1 sprig

For the grinding:

Peppercorns -1/2tsp
Cumin-1/2tsp
Ginger small size - 1
Garlic cloves -6
Curry Leaves- 2 Sprig

Preparation method:

Heat oil in a pan, add cinnamon, cloves,fennel seeds and cumin seeds.
Once they spluttered add chopped onions and green chillies, sauté it.
Add chicken pieces , turmeric, salt and mix it well.
Sprinkle water, cover it and cook for 20 mins in a medium flame.
Add freshly ground ginger, garlic, curry leaves, cumin, peppercorns and mix it well.
Cook it for 10 mins in medium flame uncovered .
Add cooked rice and sprinkle sesame oil and mix it well.
When its done add lemon juice, garnish it with coriander leaves.
Serve it hot with raita, pickle and papad.
