The level of ignorance in this world is astounding.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏

You as a particle physicist, anything you share is interesting to me. Dark or not, it’s part of the universe we live in. Just like politics, people will always complain one way or another. Keep the videos coming as you wish. 👍🏼😎

Social media works in mysterious ways! 😂 Keep at it, it’s so refreshing to hear about science from someone who knows it.

I can't get enough of the fact that you are working at CERN and also keeping your YouTube channel alive. Cheers and love! On you go.

I want to go into either quantum or particle physics so I LOVE your page. My school might be visiting CERN soon and I am unbelievably excited!

There are a lot of people out there with half baked ideas that are reinforced by social media bubbles, and we've seen that these can become hugely damaging.

So, for the algorithm! (And me!), a fact and a question relevant to CERN.

A favourite concept for me is the idea that the structure of the universe shows remarkable similarities and simplicities between the very smallest scales, and the very largest scales - with complexity found between these two ends of the scale spectrum. There's a fantastic lecture on this by Neil Turok at the Perimeter Institute called the Astonishing Simplicity of Everything, highly recommended.

Question:How does the Higgs field explain the origin of inertia, and does this mean that competing ideas such as Mach's theorem or the magneto-inertial field are now defunct?

People who hate stuff engage with it to criticize it and engagement is probably what the algorithm optimizes, be it good or bad. Whatever gets clicks and thus addwatch time. I like your content btw :)

It's hard to pick a favourite science fact. One I like is, there are some worms with branching body plans.  Syllis ramosa, Ramisyllis multicaudata, and Ramisyllis kingghidorahi. The two genera seem to have evolved independently.

I love science!! 😀

Oh dear, why are people shouting at you? I'm sorry to hear that people are giving you a hard time.

I'm a marine engineer but a passionate physicist & cosmologist at heart. I absolutely love your videos! Please do keep it up! 😀

Just discovered your channel today via Instagram... I am in total adoration of you and your work.

I love reading up on Quantum physics and trying to understand as much as possible. I study things of the like online...

I loved Steven Hawking's last book he was writing when he passed; it was the first time I understood completely what a black hole --about the escape velocity being greater than the speed of light..

Anyways you rule!

Been trying to improve my science knowledge since long before you were born. I expect to carry on with that until I die. You are helping a dullard like me learn more. How can that be bad?
