A show about a PTSD suffering psychopathic blood and rage-driven soldier whose only loyalty is his warped sense of morality and lack of faith in humanity results in perhaps one of the best tv shows in the past decade.

"I am home" It was at that moment he chose to stay and fight rather than be reunited with his wife and kids. That was probably the hardest thing for him to ever do. And that's Why I salute Frank Castle for his tremendous need to punish all those that have it coming.

“Home” is one of my all time favourite tv episodes. The emotion I felt throughout that entire episode is unmatched. Can’t explain it.

I love the dissonance this ost creates in the scene. He is standing up, winning, finally getting revenge, but you cannot be happy or hype, because you know that he just lost everything in the process, and can never really come back from this, no matter what happens. This is when Frank Castle truly dies. Rawlins was right: He is a dead man, his heart simply does not know it yet.

God, this was such a heartbreaking scene. Frank had a chance to be with his wife and go out into the light. However, if he chooses to follow his happiness, there is a man that walks the earth that will go unpunished. So he walks away.
