im in hampton va and these mulberry trees grow in my backyard. youll find those tress randomly all around the town.

great video i love mulberrues i planted some last year and they are doing great opposite problem of you we have very sandy soil in south georgia

Molasses is good, but you also may need to amend the hole with soil and calcium. That will also help breakdown the clay beneath your plants. Trees are probably dying because the roots are not getting enough oxygen and not able to push through that clay. You can also take the ash from the trees that you burn and put it in the holes as an amendment to the soil. ✌🏾
