DJI AIR 3 REVIEW: IS IT TIME TO DITCH YOUR DJI AIR 2S?

THIS IS THE BRAND NEW DJI AIR 3, and this is my DJI AIR 3 REVIEW!! I've been testing out this drone for a few months now and it's finally time to answer the question...is it time to ditch your DJI AIR 2S??? I've been using the Air 2S since the day it came out and it has been my GO TO Drone for when I travel. The power and size has just been unmatched. But I think it's time for the new Air King, the DJI AIR 3 is an absolute beast and a revolutionary drone when it comes to the air series. Let mw know your thoughts and if you'll be picking one up!

@3:46 Point of correction with drone sensors (which also applies to smartphone sensors) the 1/1.3" sensor is an optical size not a physical size. So it's actually much smaller than a 24mm equivalent. I know... it's weird and the whole optical sensor size system makes no sense, but alas it's what these companies use.

I am upgrading from the Mavic pro1 so I will see a big difference. I look forward to having 360 degree sensors. Big upgrade for me. Great video.

A couple of questions. What is the satellite acquisition time like with the Air 3? Also, precision landing. Has it been improved to Mavic 3 levels, or better than the Air 2S?

Do you see any drawbacks with the new Air 3 for photogrammetry vs 2S ? I'd like to do buildings mapping for inspection as a side hustle and that would be a starter before getting something more appropriate later on.

depend if you want ditch air3 for air 4 or mavic 4. air 1 still works it shoot 1080p format that was last media. rest is digital mambo jambo

I feel like the upgrades on the Air 3 are gimmicky and most people would have been happier with a software update on the Air 2S and the Air 2, then they could just sell the new remote separately. I mean the Air 2S is already so good I think a whole new drone just for a few upgrades is useless.

you talk about it being better in low light but no comparison at all in your video, also in my opinion sensor size is sensor size, does not matter what fancy triple milion stacked hocus pocus dji put into the drone I still think a bigger sensor and real 20mpx photos are just a winner. The 48mpx on the Air 2 was just super bad compared to the 20 on Air 2S or Mavic 2 Pro. I always shot 12mpx on the Air 2 and it was much better. Also the 5.4k VS 4K is a huge difference so basically you can still crop better out of the 5.4K and get more resolution then the vertical crop of the 2.7k as 5.4K is 3000 vertically. Honestly this drone is such a fail and probably the only reason to but it is the C rating cause DJI screwed us over on the Air 2S
