Mr. Brian... if I can meet you in person, I will give surely give you a big hug. In the past, I used to watch several videos to help my kid and I was still left with some doubts. Not to mention this entire process used to be very time consuming (Math had never been my subject growing up as I grew up in the pre-internet era and unfortunately never had any good Math teachers). I have a question how do we know what it found by or in Luther words. let’s say we had 12, 24, 36 does it matter how much you count by ?

So when we divide our y and x value and get let's say 2 at least 2 times but get 3 for the rest would that still be direct variation or no?
