Social Ranks and Rewards Guide

Social Rank is a special system you progress when doing activities with other players in Star Wars: The Old Republic. As you gain social ranks, you’ll be able to access new rewards at every level. In this guide, I’ll be going over the new way to acquire these ranks, and the cool armors, mounts and other items you can get as you progress on the social track! Updated for 7.0!

Social Ranks used to be gained via “Social Points” earned by doing cutscene conversations with other players in them. This is no longer the case as of 7.0, and to progress in ranks you must now complete activities via the group finder. To reach the group finder window, press the “three little people” icon on your mini-map.

Social Rank is now awarded via Achievements, you can find your achievement progress by Pressing Y by default, then scrolling down to Achievements - Legacy - Advancement - Group Finder.

Social Ranks are legacy-wide, not per-character, and are directly tied to your achievements, which you can unlock by completing a certain number of group finder activities for each rank. You’ll need to run a total of 100 group finder activities to reach Social X!

Social I Friendly: 1 Group Activity
Social II Outgoing: 5 Group Activities
Social III Coordinator: 10 Group Activities
Social IV Party Planner: 15 Group Activities
Social V Guide: 25 Group Activities
Social VI Chatterbox: 35 Group Activities
Social VII Extrovert: 50 Group Activities
Social VII Charismatic: 65 Group Activities
Social IX Leader: 80 Group Activities
Social X Big Time: 100 Group Activities

Wait, did they change the social system? Cause I thought you had to grind out a lot of points from MANY activities just to get to rank II.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but nothing I do counts towards the group finder achievement. I have 21 options in the filter, all are on except one and it won’t turn on, it’s called the foundry and I’ve already completed the flashpoint by myself. Don’t know what else to do

Actually, the titles are legacy titles. They used to be character only but those are unobtainable now :)
