Hi VelCro8112, Thanks for your comment!
Check out 4:00. I was able to get both DVD1 and DVD2 to load using the ISO2USB which then loaded the files to my flash drive.

Sorry to hear that, how big is your flash drive? Also you could try installing a lighter version of CentOs and then upgrading it once you have the initial install done.

thanks for this helpful tutorial..
I was able to get CentOS running perfectly using iso2usb, apparently unetbootin still needs DVD1.iso in the flash drive which is a pain coz I only have 8GB to spare..

Any thoughts on this:
I'm getting a "Press the <Enter> key to begin the installation process." dialogue. I press enter and nothing happens
I'm on a Lenovo T510 with 6GB of memory, it is a 64 bit chipset should I be using the 64 bit version?
Could really use some help, I am trying to use a booted usb drive to manually fsck my voicemail server at work. (I do not have root access to the server as is, I need to get around it with this)

Hello there,
Firstly thank you for this tutorial. I have some kind of problems. I created that bootable usb drive. Then i choose removable drive as first boot option. But it still starts with the windows. Then i deleted harddrive option from the boot menu. now it just says 'insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key' and nothing happens, i am pretty sure that i prepared usb drive properly.

How i can boot from an SD Card?, i have a micro SD of 8 GB and i'm trying to install CentOS on my pc, but it gave me several choises to boot from usb, except the USB-HDD, which one is the right choice?

USB-CDROM
USB-FDD
USB-ZIP

and if none of them is... which one will be the option i must choose to boot from the mini sd? (setted to the pc through an SD card reader and one adaptator mini SD/SD )

Is ISO2USB and UnNetbootin the same program? They look almost identical.

Hmm, you may of not installed the xwindows gui, but if you did install it you can try typing startx or xwin on the command line to see if it starts it for you. Thanks for watching.
