It's a little easier with real family though .

What a powerful, heart wrenching scene. I cry every time I see it. Cruzito had been through so much. He loved & missed Juanito and his family with all his heart. He needed their love & forgiveness and their embrace. There’s so many beautiful layers to this movie it deserves an academy award & a Pulitzer prize to signify how different it is than anything else ever made.

Everyone praises The Godfather for the story arc of Michael Corleone witch is incredible, this movie gave you that with Miklo, Paco and Cruz. This movie deserves more praise then it gets for the great story telling.

I honestly feel that the Family would’ve never accepted Cruito back had Paco not shot Miklo’s leg. Think about it. Paco went to see Cruzito out of guilt for doing what he did to Miklo and for leaving Cruzito high and dry after what happened to Juanito. Mano and Dolores probably saw the guilt that Paco went through over Miklo, and the guilt Cruzito was probably going through and at this point in sure they knew Paco started the whole thing to begin with by being a hard ass on everyone especially Miklo. So they decided to end the guilt and start forgiving so save Cruzito before he OD and they lose another child
