That’s very interesting, specially to see where the cobbles and kerb stones were removed and replaced.

I thought the gun battery was where the back garden on the last house on the warren is sited. You can see some of the concrete from it has been used for the building in the garden. I thought the concrete you show on the floor was possibly from the search light. The coastal battery housed 2x 6" navel guns that used to belong to HMS Africa. I didn't know the coastguard lookout building was as old as the second world war.
