Salt for the Salt God, melee not for the Tau #shorts

Games Workshop released the Arks of Omen mustering rules for Boarding Actions, and a salty tau player just needs to vent about how they did my boi farsight absolutely dirty.

Why did they need to nerf him? My man did not deserve this.

Warhammer 40k can be a fickle beast for rules. We just have to roll with the punches... and play another gametype.

They dropped a campaign thing a few years ago that was horribly biased to hoard armies. Comes with balance by spreadsheet rather than actually getting a group of professionals together to savagely beat the rules into a playable form. Gws focused more on the product push than the games endurance. Gee should we spend the time carefully balancing everything? Nah, let's add a range of hilariously broken space dwarves back into the game.

Heres my list:
Custom sept: calm under pressure, defensive doctrines (oh yeah, the unbrekable mop)

2 breacher teams
Cadre fireblade
3 Crisis with Missile pods, Cyclic ion blasters and Tau flamers.

Everything (bar cadre fireblade) is assault so this army has no weapon with strenght under 5, prepare for the mopping

I like the Tau army and all they really need to do is give them the trait to fire back with attacked and better chance to hit than most armies. That'd literally be all they require. Give the shooting specialized army the best version of shooting.
These people have specialized equipment and AI to ensure that they hit their target, give them better hit chance and reactionary shooting.

I found the onepagerules is a fun alternative to 40k. You can even make a deadly close combat battle suit commander.

I suspect this might be due to a new model/datasheet for farsight coming in and they had to tone him back for boarding actions
