Today I want to share with you some decluttering mistakes I think you should try to avoid when minimizing your home!! We mixed a couple of shades until we got the color we wanted. ;)

Are you Christian/Mormon?
YES!! Mormons are Christians so I am both!! The official name of my church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Are you still homeschooling?
Not anymore. I LOVE homeschooling and hope to homeschool my children again one day. The timing for learning at home just isn't right now. :)

What kind of Washer and Dryer do you have?
I have a high efficiency (you can use less detergent if you have one, too!) top loading LG washer and dryer. I LOVE them!!

So many great tips! I cannot tell you how many times I have not gotten things out of my house fast enough and I end up digging through them and keeping them! I won’t make that mistake again!

Thanks for the continued inspiration. I just declutter my serving and cooking utensils by emptying one on my junk drawers, putting all of the utensils in there and then as I use it I put it in the regular drawer. After a month I got rid of over half of my utensils! 😁

Also one of the mistakes I personally made time and time again is: getting stuck in one area. I have been minding to minimize my possessions, but...would always start with my wardrobe and then just stop there! Keep moving forward!!!

I actually enjoy going through and taking time on sentimental stuff while decluttering. Don’t get me wrong it DOES take longer, and can slow down progress, however I almost take it as closure. Embrace the memory, and then let the item go now that I had my closure.

I loved this video, like I love all your videos! Random: Two years ago I donated like 20 bags of stuff to Good will then it dawned on me they just resell it. I stopped doing that and now only donate to other places, shelters, injured veterans they take kids clothing as well and I just schedule a pickup to our home. What a great video....
I also keep a declutter box on the floor of the back seat of the car, when it fills up, I donate, by keeping in the car, I detach myself from owing them.but I actually have built up a decluttering muscle, it’s very easy for me to donate
I also wish I could declutter my husbands things, I did NAG and I was thrilled when he decluttered his side of the closet. I don’t think I would have nagged if we didn’t share a walk in closet, if we had separate closets it wouldn’t have bothered me... I love all your tips
