Now I can finally sleep knowing the difference between gelato and icecream

Gelato is the perfect one for me ... But the heavy nature can feel bad on your throat if you're sick/extremely thirsty

Sorbet is the opposite - it's not creamy at all but it's the ones that has the most "refreshing" feel, it's light, easy on the throat and can fit with more dishes as dessert

Ice cream is somewhere in the middle - it's the one for casuals basically

Wow, I didn't know there was a distinction between gelato and ice cream, probably because, here in Italy, "ice cream" is the English word for "gelato", so it sounds like the same thing to us.
I bet I've tasted both of them without even noticing the difference.

Someone should make an ice cream that has one part ice cream, gelato, and sorbet. You know similar to the vanilla, chocolate, strawberry ice cream.

Misleading. Gelato generally has more sugar to make it smoother and creamier to compensate for the lower amount of butterfat.
