Hey everyone! We are husband-and-wife architectural/interior photographers based in NYC. We started our video channel to act an artistic intervention to help raise awareness of the importance of small independently-owned businesses and the unique character these shops add to the streets and neighborhoods of New York City.

In our videos we will showcase portraits of storefronts and shop owners in New York City & beyond and capture moments of city life that capture the spirit, energy and cultural diversity of individual neighborhoods. We also bring our dog, Hudson along whenever we can.

We made it our mission to thoroughly document unique 'mom-and-pop' stores when we began to notice the alarming rate at which they were disappearing. Our heroes start out in Greenwich Village, where they walked down Broadway and saw "Forbidden Planet", "Strand Bookstore", "Halloween Adventure", "Grace Church", "The Donut Pub", "Flying Tiger Copenhagen", "Evolution", "Jones Disterlery", "Yankee Kicks", "A Sneaker City", "Bleaker Street Bar", "Tucci", "Little Market NYC" and "Additas". They crossed over to Soho and saw "H&M", "North Face", "Arcteryx", "Milk", "Prada", "Aritzia", Banana Republic", "Aldo", " Timberland". They turn down Spring Street West Broadway and saw " Aloe", "Mackage", "Jacquemus", "Varda", "Doc Martins", "Piombo", "Mure+Grand", "Mackenzie Childs", "Nanw Jacqueline ", "Anthopologie", "Rime Arodaky", "Doors", "Thierry Atlan", "Vesuvuo Bakery", "Lamy", and "The Courner Store". They then passed Houston Street and walked passed "Sant Anthony church", "Arturo's" Then they crossed McDougall Street and walked passed "Caffe Dante" "Village Revival Records ", "Monte's", "Minetta Tavern", and "Caffe Reggio". They then walked into "Washington Square Park" and ended the livestream. Thanks for sharing this wonderful walk plus the marvelous Mr Hudson and enjoy the rest of your night.

Hay guys left a new poem posted at your last video. Now this video James I never got the Friday after thanksgiving off either. Karla it did sound like you said cha-cha when talking about that big kid balloon. That was so funny and you trying to coverup for it was cute. Donuts 🍩 yes one of each!! Sitting in my morning room getting a different view of you guys, great. O No Soho too many people for me. The two door vehicles I prefer that is what catches my eye. The Rolls is a keeper and the silver Porsche with the red top. Did you see it? I am sorry I drifted off soon after that I remember the beautiful teapot store. That’s what happens when you get old so don’t get old. Karla loved your mittens and that jacket is like the neatest. The streets look so cool when their wet with the even light.
