Can I just say, even though the video is three years old, it holds up so well, just because you explain everything with meaning.

Like, first showing us the input name for horizontal and vertical movement, then applying that knowledge to show that the getAxis action needs that input name.

For someone who doesn't learn that fast (me), that's awesome! Thank you ๐Ÿ™

Great tutorial bro. But i think for jump you can use collision event to check if player touch ground or not. And in this case player cant jump more than one.

Do you prefer the rigid body method over adding a character controller script? Always find the acceleration never feels right with a rigid body, and you have to manually create a system for walking up steps - likely a raycast of some sort. Whereas character controller has this built in, but then a jump / gravity system needs to be implemented separately.

You should do a third person controller next with PlayMaker :)

I wonder if the author didn't know (understand) about rotation XYZ or it was just a mistake. Im curious because the first time he explains why he puts a checkmark next to Axis Y - which was an obvious fallacy.
