The ancient Egyptians were black. Diversity came from the wars & invasions by the Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs & Turks from around 550bc forward. The people of ancient Egypt (older name Kemet) came from the interior of Africa - Uganda, Punt, Ethiopia, Kenya & Tanzania. The skin tones of black ppl range from extremely dark to reddish brown to light brown. The further away from the equator, the lighter the skin. The white races were in the caucus mountains as neanderthals & didn't go into Egypt until Alexander the Great in 332bc. The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognizes them as ethnically black Africans. The DNA tests ppl refer to are of 2000 yr old mummies- not old enough to be from the dynasties. Teaching truth in history should be the goal.

It's funny it didn't put the disclaimer that was on that test in this video..The DNA sample they used was from the Ptolemaic dynasty and it clearly says that on the test plus the fact they never crossed the results with the people in Aswan..its funny it doesn't mention this and that it didn't stand up to peer reviewed scrutiny..but phenotypiclly, culturally, religiously they were Black African and black of course comes in many shades..Nubian, Ethiopian, West African amd Central African..im not sure why some have a hard time excepting this as truth when all the evidence points to this..its kind of silly really..What's the problem with that..we are all human so why try to hard to disprove it..Even the early Egyptologist admitted this until those racist Egyptologist got involved..Even the man that deciphered the Rosetta stone said this without question..they say the reason was to justify slavery but we are supposed to pass those evils but that lie has a serious hold on people that they want to deny the evidence or even say our eyes aren't showing us what we see..funny..I guess they'll except it one day but the truth is the truth..

I am a Black American mixed with Egyptian roots, and I always tell people my Egyptian ancestors were not Black, White, or Arab. They were indigenous North African and Levantine. This is dumb. Anyone who has spent a small time learning ancient history knows that egyptian is a culture not a race of people. Egypt is at the crossroads of Africa Saudi Arabia east Asia and the Mediterranean. From the very earliest dynasty egypt had been trading with all these different cultures and civilizations. Egypt did not exist in a vacuum by itself. Populations were constantly mixing and trading with foreign lands. Egypt existed for 3000 years people. They were conquered multiple times had foreign rulers at times. We also know through ancient t text from both Egypt and Mesopotamia that the royal families sent each other sons and daughters to marry and create children to bring peace strengthen their alliances and also solidify their royal claims by adding other royal blood. Pharaohs found out the hard way you can't keep breeding in the family. So we know Saudia Arabians east Asians and Mediterranean people traveled to Egypt. So we know for sure the egyptian Population was a mixture or different peoples. So we can probably say that at different times there were black pharaohs and at other times white pharaohs and everything in between. I hate to see white people claiming that Egyptians were white or the rulers were white and I hate seeing people say Egyptians were all black or the rulers were all black. Its just nonsense. What advanced civilization do you know that over 3000 years nothing changed and the people all stayed the same lol. And of course if you take a Pharoah from after alexanders conquest of egypt he's probably going to be Greek. Even Greeks after awhile thought of themselves as egyptian. So it depends of what your definition of egyptian. Also there are other parts of North Africa that had white skinned beber populations. There is zero evidence the berbers took that land by conquest and war the evidence points to them being indigenous. So with all the evidence we have of different populations mixing within Egypt its safe to say that Egyptians were definitely a multi cultural society.
