question: when you place a 3x stop doesnt that then DECREASE your 80% success rate because the stock will most likely test that 3x stop more often that if you did not have a stop. Not that you don't want a stop, but it seems that a stop just increases your loss rate.

being an options seller, how do you hedge Vega? call spreads on the vix? Vol being so low ( vix) always feels like a looming danger, particularly coming off such a high vol year like 2022

In a financial arena shared with algo sweeping action and Marxist Fed Res. price ""manipulation", there are still some downsides as you know to selling options in a fixed poker game/trading game. Psychological capital is wasted worrying with anxiety with all the fake news headlines and stop running campaign gunning for those 1sd options/20 delta sold as "easy money." Master technical analysis and volume profile/VWAP and option pinning and keep your option selling on the weeklys selectively to minimize having to worry about being the mark in the shady market action these days, the play sandbox of devious Marxist ghouls in Savile Rowe suits, imo.
