I'm on my tenth or eleventh CoverGirl Shimmering Sands. No lie or exaggeration there! It got me thru a busy corporate career that started about 40 years ago - everyone wanted to look like Cybill Shepherd in the tv show "Moonlighting, " but I couldn't figure out the right blend of shimmery pastel shades with my brown eyes and very fair-cool complexion. So the beige-brown range was (and still is) perfect for me! I love this video Julie - thanks!

I too, keep my makeup and don’t believe in the so called 2 year expiration date. Unless it separates, smells or burns my face off, I will keep using my makeup. I’m gonna get my monies worth 😂 I do rotate my makeup and if I no longer like the product or if the eyeshadows no longer look good on me then I will declutter them out. I’m now focusing on using up my makeup, and it feels great to see some serious progress. Thank you for sharing your ultimate favorites.

I still use Loreal Double extend mascara almost exclusively. I've lived in terror that they'll discontinue it ! Maybelline age rewind in Brightner is another must have. I even use it as a eyeshadow primer. It is so good and evens out discoloration.

Has Exposed been around 10 years? I still on it. My blush collection is mostly tarte. I love them. I've been using them since they came out .

The bronzer I've used the longest is Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. Has that been around 10 years? I've actually used up and repurchased it several times.

The w&w lipsticks were 99 cents. I've always had a couple. And mac twig !

That L’Oréal burgundy mascara brings out the green in my hazel eyes. I love it!

I love your eye shadow. So pretty. But my favorite for years is the Mac shadow too. I continue to use satin taupe as a one and done for me. The lipsticks, wow, I hoarded those back when and still won’t let some go. My favorite was fluid and rocker ( no longer available 😢) and another was beigeland, such a good nude shade, which was a limited one. I wear fresh Moroccan and O. I see Mac is bringing back some old favorite lipsticks soon, so take a look. My favorite milani blush is discontinued and I still have it was called red vino. Wish they still made it. Mac made a good mineralize blush called style demon and they were both similar shades. No longer avail but I still use and hold onto it. Thanks for memory lane and for sharing. ❤

I love that L’Oreal mascara but they’re so expensive in Australia. I can get an Essence or Rimmel one for much less, so I tend to use those.

We have very similar taste in makeup. Perhaps that's why I've been following you for so long 😊.
I love MAC lipsticks (well, I love all of the ones you've mentioned today) also, in fact, the L'oreal shade in Fairest Nude is a dupe for MAC Honeylove. MAC's is matte and L'oreal's is glossy.

Revlon Colourstay….30 years for me.😂 I wore it on my wedding day too which was 29 years ago this November.

Hi Julie, Thank you for sharing. Your makeup is flawless! I still use revlon colorstay, especially in the summer, Loreal Super blendable powder if I can find my shade, Milani primer, urban decay all nighter and wet n wild lipstick bare it all if I can find it. Covergirl true blend concealer and LA girl proconcealer are also my favorites right now.

Some great picks, Julie. I love many of the same items & brands, especially the Milani Luminoso, W&W single eyeshadows and the Revlon, Maybelline & Mac lipsticks. Velvet Teddy is still one of my faves. Oldies but goodies :)

We have similar taste in makeup. I have that Wet N Wild lipstick in the mocha shade, CoverGirl Shimmering Sands eyeshadow, Revlon lipstick in Gentlemen Prefer Pink, the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer and the Milani Eyeshadow Primer..I always keep a backup of this. One thing I will say about Cover Girl they are good about keeping their original formulas and not discontinuing like other makeup brands. I have always repurchased their blush in the shade Natural Glow. It's a light peachy blush for fair skin.
