I loved this show, but I hope they don't do a reboot. I don't think I could cope with anymore on/off Pacey/Joey drama. They live perfectly happily ever after in my mind. I want it to stay that way

Joey is right about it being pre social media, it's the last huge tv show pre internet. It was a coming of age. They've COME OF AGE. Anything in their future would just take away from their original work. Which was mindblowingly awesome. <3

Even though I love the show ao much and can't get enough of it I don't think they should do a reboot or more episodes. It was so special at that time and it did feel like an ending. I'm just so happy the cast is reuniting. I could sit and listen to them talk about the show for hours and hours

The nostalgia I'm having at this moment. Love the show and cast. They are amazing and Thank you Kevin. I don't think they should do the reboot as much as I would love to see where they all are, I think how it ended was especial so no need to ruin it. It was only possible in pre social media times. Kids will never, never ever get that smart as some of us we were back then because of this PERFECT control and dumbing down instrument. I am a parent and I have a lot of work to do with other children and it breaks my heart to say that, but it is true, even for medicine or law students. The social media destroyed all of this. Dawsons Creek was the last show about teenagers we all would be proud of, after that social media came.
Being a parent I would like to grow up my own child in the 90s but not later.

i never watch this show when i was a teenager ...just now watching it at 37 on netflix... after every episode i think, that was so stupid, but then i watch the next . I dont know who a few of the people are on the couch or their characters because im only in the begging of season 2

Dawson's is one of my most favorite, cherished shows ever to be made. I agree with what Katie said though. Even if Jen hadn't passed, the show existed in a certain time and they closed it beautifully. I think if they were to ever do a reunion show, even just an episode, it wouldn't feel the same and it would put a dim light on the beauty of the original. I also don't get the vibe that the actors want to do a reunion, which would only make it worse. It has to be sincere and not for paychecks or for the fans.

Do a 4 part sequel like the Gilmore Girls did. But even the ending of the Gilmore Girls sequel has made me question more about what happens next.

Katie Holmes words are very smart ... Dawson's Creek aired on TV in a pre-internet and social media era. The world was a much simpler place. I am amazed at how the world has changed.

Just a couple years after the show ended I envisioned/created stories for a Season 7 and 8 before the finale to close the college years.

I pictured Audrey departing and bringing two new characters: Tara (played by Chyler Leigh) and Adam (played by Dave Anabelle).

Among the stories I created was: Jen and Jack living in New York, Jen struggling to re-adapt. Joey getting together with Adam (meeting him in her plain back from Paris from her trip at the end of Season 6), Dawson creating and starting to film his very own movie, Joey living at some apartment in Boston and having Tara as the new roommate, Tara hooking up with Pacey eventually getting pregnant late in their storyline. A little throw over there where Eddie comes back for a couple episodes...etc...

I even outlined episode names with Season 8 finishing with Joey, Jen, Jack, Tara and Adam finishing college, but it would ignore the 5 year jump finale.
