A Brief History of Jack Kerouac Park & Commemorative

What was at French & Bridge Streets before the park? How did the initiative to create the park begin, and how did it gain momentum? Who chose the design of the commemorative?

These questions and more are answered in this film, shot in October 2018 during the LCK! Fall Festival Annual 'Commemorative at the Commemorative' event honoring the 30th anniversary of the dedication of the park & commemorative.

LCK! founding members Brian Foye, Richard Scott and former LNHP Superintendent Peter Aucella, who had been the construction project manager for the park & commemorative's creation, all relate various and intimate perspectives on this fascinating chapter of local Downtown Lowell history.
