Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a grand welcome at the 'Modi and US' event in New York with loud cheers and chants from the Indian community. During his address, PM Modi gave a new meaning to AI, calling it "American-Indian" instead of Artificial Intelligence. He also spoke of India’s efforts to host the 2036 Olympics, calling the Indian diaspora "strong ambassadors" or "rashtradoot." The prime minister also praised the Indians settled in the United States, calling them "brand ambassadors" of India, and said that it is because of them that the India-US partnership is flourishing. He went on to say that they are the bridge that brings the two great democracies together. PM Modi also thanked U.S. President Joe Biden for his hospitality in Delaware, where the two leaders held bilateral talks. PM Modi had also attended the annual Quad Summit in Biden's home state.
