Who is Marvel's Proteus? Reality Warping... At a High Cost.

This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the Marvel Comics character "Proteus." From his birth in Scotland UK to Kevin and Moira MacTaggert, to developing an unstable mentality and reality warping mutant abilities, these superpowers causing him to burn out his own body as well as countless other host bodies that his psionic consciousness inhabits, having a unique weakness to metals which disrupt his energy fields, multiple run-ins with the X-Men and even Magneto, taking over the bodies of various superheroes like Morph of the Exiles team as well as Piecemeal and Hulk 2099, being one of the few mutants to survive M-Day, being used by the powerful supervillain named Shadow King, to his demise at the combined efforts of Bishop and Rogue; Let's take a look at this Omega-Level Marvel supervillain, and powerful reality warping, body & dimension-hopping enemy of the X-Men. It is revealed in the film X-men: Apocalypse that Moira MacTaggert has a son. This is a reference to her son in the comics, Kevin MacTaggert, who is the mutant Proteus. Previously, this was lightly mentioned in X2: X-Men United (2003), when his name is seen on William Stryker's computer.

I was lucky enough to had brought that issue 6 years ago. My gosh, that was a GREAT issue. I loved how emotionally wreaked the X-MEN were after facing and losing their 1st battle against Proteus.

You're wrong because the first victim of Kevin MacTaggert was actually Angus Macwhirter who had a grudge against the X-Men for some damage they'd accidentally done to his property which is shown at the end of the X-Men issue titled Twas the night before Christmas when they'd saved Japan with the help of the mutant Sunfire from Mose Magnum.
