WHITE HOUSE CORONAVIRUS BRIEFING: Members of the White House coronavirus response team are holding a briefing now to discuss their efforts to combat the ongoing pandemic.

Yesterday, President Joe Biden announced that the U.S. would send roughly 80 million vaccine doses to other countries around the world. However, some advocates say his actions are not enough, as the world would need about 11 billion vaccine doses to get 70% of the global population vaccinated. According to The NY Times, the analytics firm Airfinity has said that only about 1.7 billion doses have been produced.
