For me it's always been that voice crack that puts the song over the top.

Posty did a great job covering an incomparable Kurt. No one will ever come close to Kurt but this tribute set was VERY well done. You could feel Post’s love and respect for Nirvana and for Kurt’s songwriting ability. A superstar in his own right paying homage to the greatest rock icon of all time. Loved it.

The school scream was good because it wasn't just a boring aggressive scream you'd hear in any other song. Kurt screamed like he actually meant it, and how we want to scream sometimes. His voice cracked, he screeches towards the end, and it's not the death metal gut scream you've heard 1000x.

Malone does a good job honoring Kurt but there is absolutely NOTHING like the original! Don't give a #uck what anyone else says here. 50 yrs from now "Kurt" will still be an Icon. Malone on the other hand someone will as "How many rebounds" did he have in the 02 finals!!!

How do you judge between these two when they had way different tech? The more times Posty points up in the performance the more it sounds like he’s singing thru a fan. I can’t be the only one who noticed.

comparison, you knocked this one out the park. Kirk is notorious for blowing his voice out because his screams were harsh on his vocal cords. You can hear Post belting in a similar fashion, he did it for the art and soul

Best part of school is the easy to play riff and the song often opened with some crazy distortion that only Cobain seemed to make.

I love that he honors our gorgeous grunge era with these beautiful hits. There’s nothing like this kind of rock music. Alice In Chains is my favorite and he covers Rooster and killed it!

Not really familiar with Post Malones music, and always thought he was just some white kid who raps, but he is most definitely very talented and his Nirvana covers are great! Have a new found respect for the man...going to check out his music...
