Crazy fact:

Lewiston Idaho has a seaport on the Snake River, which is the furthest inland seaport on the west coast

I find it funny that Idaho was completely left off the list

The Missouri river is a bit longer but the Mississippi is much larger by volume. Even at St Louis it is about twice the volume.

I grew up and learned how to swim on the Missouri river. Am lucky I’m alive. 2340 miles long!

I was a little disappointed in this video. I was hoping to see the river with the most miles in a particular state. For example, let's look at Iowa. Yes, the Missouri is the longest river that touches Iowa, but the length of the river in Iowa is not close to the river with the most miles in Iowa. As it only hits PART of the western border of the state, it does not qualify for the title I was hoping for. Even the Mississippi only covers the eastern border. On the other hand, the Des Moines goes from the NW part of the state to the very SE most point of the state. It has many miles on the other rivers. That is what I was hoping for here. Maybe there can be another video like that!

Get a dictionary and figure out the difference between "largest" and "longest." Not the same thing.
