The RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) is a small, light-weight, infrared-homing surface-to-air missile used by the German, Japanese, Greek, Turkish, South Korean, Saudi Arabian, Egyptian, Mexican, United Arab Emirates, and U.S. Navies. Its original purpose and main application was as an anti-ship missile point-defense weapon. RAM, as its name suggests, rolls as it flies. Since the two-antenna interferometer used by the RF tracking system can only measure phase interference of the electromagnetic wave in one plane, the missile must roll while in flight.

Обзор ноль. Эфективность ноль. Раньше на бортах стояла.
