That piece looks so good! I wish my teacher explained it like this for me 😂 you made the explanation way easier and using tape to keep it together makes so much sense. I had to figure everything out by myself, i still have some colored glass laying around so i might just finish the lamp i wanted to do

if you don't have a sticker maker you can put it on with rubber cement! a trick i learned during my jewelry classes :)

If you can't get proper solder flux, beeswax or rosin dissolved in isopropyl alcohol works as flux.

Is there a way to keep that gorgeous copper colour at the end or is it mandatory to cover it up with steel? Like...I know it is to keep the pieces together but, is there another way? That copper looks gorgeous.

I did some stained glass in college back in the early '80s. Loved doing the work, still have one piece, but found out I was quite allergic to the Flux. Still love the process, though.
